No specimen available

In beautiful edible condition. Soft bracts with rounded edges. Moist and flexible. Growing on a dead pepperwood on the southeast side of the pond at bullfrog campground in Austin Creek / Armstrong Redwoods. I only had my phone camera with me at the time – too bad – it’s a beautiful specimen.

Sorry for only having my phone camera with me at the time.
