The cap can sometimes be olive-greenish

This species is common in high elevation areas in the volcanoes surrounding Mexico City.

An observation of the same species which has microscopy is observation 94616.

dark/off-color cap, but probably in the ‘Sp. II’ complex based on habitat.
Then again, this is in South Central Mexico, so who knows…
