Actually, it looks like all of the other observations of Psilocybe stuntzii on this website are from developed areas (in lawns or wood chips) or cultivated. Can you link me to another report of Psilocybe stuntzii in the wild? And when I say ‘wild’ I mean in undeveloped areas like forest…

There are a total of 12 observations on MO of this species (in the wild) and the habitat appears to be under pine.

What type of habitat was this mushroom found in and what were the primary tree species nearby? Also, what was the elevation? I think this may be the first Psilocybe stuntzii ever found in the wild.
