Clump of 4 little white mushrooms growing in wood chip mulch in a mixed border.
Striate ovate white cap about 1 cm across, 0.5 cm high with hint of ochre at centre.
White stem 3.5 cm long, a few mm diameter.
Pale 3-tier adnate gills, about 20 meeting stem. Gills darkening to almost black with a white edge in specimen kept for pore print which black.
Spores scraped from cap after a few days were oval with one end flattened, smooth, very dark grey or black in KOH, 11-14.5 × 5.5-7 microns. Some were opaque others translucent and showing blobs inside.
