Rhizines are too discrete

The “woolly matted” rhizines (of P. canina) are hard to diagnose. Toward the center of most P. praetextata the rhizines get “messed up” enough to look a little woolly and matted. But when you see so many clearly simple rhizines around the margin, then you can be sure of these marginal cases.
