This is your reference, Richard, to suggest that another observation is a Hypocrea, and not Rickiella. The latter is characterized by the lacunae/chambers present on the abhymenial undersurface, which that ob (Observation 138123) does indeed possess. If this one has the same, it could also be Rickiella.

Nice to see that there has been another observation of this interesting fungus. There have not been many posted on this site. It’s either unusual or overlooked.
