When: 2012-10-12

Collection location: Dalton, Georgia, USA [Click for map]

Who: Stephen (Ιερονυμοσ)

No specimen available

Growing in rotting pine branches/straw (P. taeda) recently disturbed.

Germinating Quercus alba acorn for comparison. On young specimen there appears to be a fine pubescence.
The smell was very reminiscent of the of G. junonius, with a spicy and very sweet smell. It was rather appetizing.
