Has a cinnamon-brown colored cap and the outer-veil remnants are pallid to “buffy-tan”, obs – 104394 shows an example quite well I think.

Okay.

Can you also make sure the other specimen/sections have no pleurocystidia, Smith says about one of the P. uliginicola lookalikes, “In P. subagraria, occasional basidiocarps show very few pleurocystidia, so at times one may key collections into section Candolleana.” A picture of the pileus, caulocystidia, and if the spores turn hyaline in KOH or not (I think Smith only relies on the quicker reactions, some species do this over time as well, i’m not sure how consistently yet…) could help too, but may not be necessary.

Only sure enough that there were none on the section that I made. Cheilocystidia were abundant and looked as they do in the picture. The spores were fairly large, something like 9-10×5-6, but I can get more accurate measurements tomorrow.

How sure are you…

that the pleurocystidia is absent? Do you have spore measurements? This could be in subgenus Candolleana, maybe subgenus Pannucia.
