is not a quality I’m familiar with for A. cepistipes. it is, however, something which allegedly helps separate A. sinapina from the rest of the honey mushroom bunch.

I saw this species

at a foray in Quebec. Without much confidence I think this is the same species. The strong yellow colors are different than any other honey mushroom.
