Notes: Substrate: Geoffoea decorticans

Thallus: Greenish, foliose, not appressed to substrate, very thin. Small overall 1-2cm across.

Of course, I’ve only ever seen the genus once or twice before. It must be very inconspicuous up here…

but you know I’ve had the darndest time trying to find photos of H. coralloides cause that what they Buenos Aires lichen key points to if go in both directions from the chem tests…

But I did just find a key to Hyperphyscia but gosh… I guess I shouldn’t get discouraged that I don’t have a set of scopes at my disposal right? I’ve been so spoiled… :)

Could this be Hyperphyscia coralloides?? Do you see any rhizines?
