habitat = the edge of a swamp under hardwoods (oak).

odor and taste were unremarkable…

think this might be an immature specimen of the A. citrina look-a-like i keep finding with the yellow above the ring????

It looks as though it has a bulb and a limbate volva. Does it have an odor? When it’s mature, I’d love to see a section down the center (top to bottom). I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it. What was the habit?
