Observation 11411: Boletus longicurvipes Snell and A.H. Smith
When: 2008-09-16
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found under mostly oak, other mixed hardwoods near a pond. Not sure what they are really. I tried to get a spore print, but only got the orange staining from the cap edges. There wasn’t any staining on bruising, but when cut it turned brownish black very slowly, taking almost 30 mins to turn color. The taste was mild.
