Observation 114207: Ramaria sandaracina Marr & D.E. Stuntz var. sandaracina

Specimen available

These were growing near Sitka Spruce.
Units up to 7 cm high X 4 cm wide.
Ferric Sulfate reaction negative on stipe context.
Taste was mild.
Clamp connections found(see photo).
Spores ~ 7.6-8.9 X 3.9-4.9 microns and moderately warted.
Did not detect any strong odor but majority of characteristics seem to lead to R. sandaracina.


Spores in KOH/Congo Red @ 1000X.
Clamp connections @ 1000X.
