the combination of very dark stipe and white pores seemed unusual. But the obs seen below is quite similar.
Small size is typical for NE G. castaneus, as well as association with species of oak. The only thing that makes me wonder about this obs (114321) is the large pores. Sometimes I do find this type with pores >= 1mm, but by the time they reach this size the pores/tubes are yellowish.
