Found at the base, exposed root, of my neighbor’s conifer (short needles, small loose cones).
Fuzzy surfaced cap, moist but firm flesh, engulfed weeds and sticks in its path. Yellow/brownish surface, pores underneath.
I may pick it and dry it.
