Noah Siegel pointed out that these were not Roridomyces, based on lack of a really thick gelatin layer on the stipe and non-umbilicate cap shape.
Which makes me wonder about observation 65176, which shows specimens that are visually a good match for Roridomyces, but apparently microscopically a poor match. I wonder if the microscopy was paired with the wrong photo?
