Notes: These were growing near planted Birch
Couldn’t get a spore print but spores found were ~ 9.3-10.3 X 6.0-7.0 microns.
Apparently there is some question as to whether these Pax’s under western planted Birches are a separate species. The spores are a little wider than usually reported for P. involutus(7-10 X 4-6 microns) but do agree with Michael Kuo’s numbers.
