Notes: these were found growing on the eggs that katydid like insects had laid in fallen logs or buried wood. The wood was often very solid.

Species aff with C. ninchukispora. This kind of entomogenous fungi attack eggs of Orthoptera. When KOH is additioned change from red to purple.
