Observation 115080: Armillaria (Fr.) Staude
When: 2012-10-31
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Usually Armillaria and Armillariella are clumping mushrooms. Elsewhere on the lawn, they were older and already degrading. This one was a cute small little one, though. Until looking at the stipe and gills, wasn’t sure it was an Armillaria.
