Collection location: Mount Pisgah Arboretum, Lane Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]

Who: David Rust (incredulis)

No specimen available

It didn’t register when I was taking this picture, but these mushrooms do not resemble my concept of L. luculentus. They were turning green, as far as I recall. Other ideas?

Part of display at Cascade Mycological Society mushroom festival. Identifiers included Susie Holmes, Bitty Roy, Steve Trudell, Debbie Viess, Freeman Rowe, Erin Page Blanchard, Joe Spivak and others from CMS.

the tag is wrong (mixed name and characters)… this is in Sect. Deliciosi

I’ll ask someone in CMS for their opinion

about the characters of this group in the photo. May be a dead issue, and might be best just to delete the observation.

I don’t see L. luculentus here. Turning green points toward L. deliciosus et al. But that would have orange latex, and be pretty obvious, and L. luculentus would have white latex. So, no idea how you would get those confused.
