Observation 115298: Marasmius oreades (Bolton) Fr.
When: 2012-11-01
No herbarium specimen
0 Sequences

Smaller fungus. Conical CAP, edge of cap with white annulus remnants (I think), doeskin brown. GILLS white, well-spaced, notched at stipe. STIPE: 3 inches long, in grassy lawn, mostly buff brown, toning to white near cap and base, becoming slightly larger at base. Pleasant fungal aroma, some grass adherring to the base.

I hope you will be able to see the tiny scales along the stipe. Scales white and contrast nicely against the stipe.
