P. praetextata is really the only choice…

… if it’s tomentose and has margins turned down. (I’ve seen P. rufescens and P. ponojensis both in the high mountains, but they don’t have the turned-down margins.) Also, P. praetextata is by far the most common species in the southeast, followed by P. polydactylon (no tomentum).
