You can improve our confidence significantly by doing a K test (both on the surface and on the white medulla inside). Also, check if the medulla is somewhat yellowish pigmented especially right under the cortex. Better macro of the texture of the upper surface might be enough, as well, since this species has distinctive pustulose soredia.
