These are very dark black or brown???? Not sure what they are-look like the orange peel fungi but black!

Your second photo appears to show a cup fungus before it has opened up. Please give more photos. BTW, this sort of looks like a Plectania. I bet it doesn’t have the thick bottom, though.

The fungus appears to tone from reddish-brown, both inside and outside, to dark black on the inside. Just my opinion.
