Observation 1160: Mycena (Pers.) Roussel
When: 2006-11-22
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These were kinda neat, a tight group of these coming out of a crack in a stump, growing from deep down in the crack. The group was like two dozen of these at together. I tried to get them out by the base, but couldn’t get down into the crack, so most broke off in the step somewhere. I did get a group of a few that were growing together, so it might have been one big cespitose cluster. Nice fuzzy bases two.

The parts that broke off oozed a nice red blood where broken.
