Notes:
More dull-brown corts. In damp mixed woods.

I have seen a minimum of five species of Cortinarius in these woods since the start of September: at least one brown species (this observation, obs. 11465, and others), C. alboviolaceus (obs. 11402 and others), a paler relative of C. alboviolaceus (obs. 11607 and others), a purpler species (obs. 11155), and a really dark purplish species (obs. 11326).
