I did put them in my yard though after printing and it started raining on em, I just retrieved one.

Small caps indicate another species.

I have observed a small white species in grass that is not V. gloiocephalus, I have an old observation of it here – http://mushroomobserver.org/59830?q=pz3N
And have since found another specimen in the same location and scoped it (I have yet to upload it), with mushroom expert it keys to Volvariella earlei which seems possible seeing this – http://www.funghiitaliani.it/index.php?showtopic=69820

Edit: Can you dry and save these please? I’ll scope them if no one better suited volunteers.

there was most likely woody debris beneath the grass, there were other wood-lovers in the vicinity.
