Observation 116272: Cortinarius fuligineofolius (M.M. Moser) M.M. Moser & Peintner

This single specimen was growing near Sitka spruce.
Cap was sl. tacky and 5.1 cm across.
Spores were ~ 8.3-9.3 X 6.1-7.0 microns and slightly to moderately rough.
KOH on cap was brown.
KOH on cap flesh was a pale violet(didn’t show up well on photo)
KOH on stem was neg.
KOH on stem base flesh was neg.
C. montanus may be a possibility.
There were olive tints on the cap and gills.
Also a yellow coating on the bulb is evident in the cut specimen.
