Notes:
Found fell-top on a public footpath in a clump of grass surrounded by bracken and sparsely grazing cows. Much debate on another website as to specific ID. Among the many species suggested include: Psilocybe semilanceata, Ps. inquilinus, Ps. strictipes, Ps. liniformans var liniformans, Deconica atrobrunnea, Deconica coprophila… Approx 20 Dried specimens – material yet to be sent for microscopy. Specimens (and photos) taken over a number of weeks.

I didn’t recognise that at thet time. Gonna get up and visit the location again hopefully this week – see if they are out again. Will photo and collect.

Gill spacing

The gill spacing on pictures 3 and 8 are drastically different, is it possible you might have tow species there?
