Notes:
foliose lichen, on smooth hardwood bark near base, in dark moist hammocks
THALLUS: closely appressed, lobes not quite 1 mm wide, finely lobed and cut, smooth, epruinose, smooth white below with scattered minute white simple rhizines, soredia borne along margin but not in discrete soralia
MEDULLA: white
APOTHECIA: none

This seems to be just about the only thing that will grow in the depths of the subtropical hammocks on the Keys.
