Thanks for your assistance, I’ve learnt so much since I started to submit to M.O. The Hydnum document is very interesting, will study this soon. I’m not a mycologist but I do love mushrooms! Maybe I can source a good, cheap ’scope, then I can analyse at the required level to differenciate sub-species etc.

they are more than one species, not completely investigated..
