just thinking about this observation the other day. I believe someone used this photo to advertise L. tigrinus cultures on their website, I thought it was funny because I was never totally convinced on the ID.

I have never been able to find these again, I will still check again once the season comes. If I remember correctly there were some dead willows on the edge of the river, these may have been growing from the roots.

This is the only L. tigrinus obs in the west on MO, and the only one on MycoPortal is by Thiers in Arizona. Cool!
