Notes: Found on the ground in a Christmas Tree farm. Very large cap….approximatley 6".

Recognized by sight: Except for the very smooth appearance on the cap, to me this looks like one of the brown-capped Trichs with reddish-brown staining gills. Maybe T. pessundatum or T. fulvum?
