Notes: Growing scattered in groups throughout a Western hemlock forest with nearby Douglas firs & immature Western redcedar. Narrowed down to s. caerulescens or s. ponderosus by blue-green staining on the flesh of the stem. Lack of streaking on cap suggests ponderosus.
