Observation 117223: Chlorophyllum Massee
When: 2012-11-18
No herbarium specimen

Notes: My neighbor insists he has been eating this as rapidly as it is produced. As he lives across the street from the fruiting, it’s getting harder to find this before he claims it. Site is rather distinctive, something of a neighborhood wildlife sanctuary, with lots of native plants added. Overstory of Deodor cedar and Port Orford cedar; understory of Vine maple, Tall Oregon grape, Woods violet.

to see a dingy background where the scales are tufted up. I’m not sure there’s enough detail showing to call this to species.
