APOTHECIA: disk, adnate to v slightly constricted, flat to convex, rim black even shiny smooth prom, disk black textured-shiny, 0.2-0.5 mm wide, epihymenium dark gray bleeding into upper hymenium, hymenium clear with no oil, hypothecium medium brown, exciple w/ v prominant black cortex, paraphyses greatly expanded at rounded tips to 5 µm unbranched, all POL-
SPORES: 8 per ascus, elliptical, smooth, 2 cells, brown, wall evenly thickened, slightly constricted, 11.2+/-0.6 × 5.6+/-0.2 µm (N=6)
