From what little I have found on F. ochracea, it seems like a good fit.

F. pinicola did cross my mind.

There is White Pine in the vicinity; but much more hemlock. No other species of pine along this trail. The wood was deteriorated and moss-covered, a tree that had apparently been down for awhile.

I didn’t know this genus. Looks like a good fit. If I see something like this again, I’ll be more inclined to collect/study it.
