Notes: Scattered among the red-brown of freshly-fallen Quercus palustris leaves were at least 100 (probably more) sporocarps. Remarkably well camophlaged, don’t you think?

Recognized by sight: Compare to obs. 117544, collected nearby. This obs. of perhaps 100 sporocarps closely associated with feeder roots of Quercus palustris of about 15 years old.
