No herbarium specimen

Notes: -found in a red and white oak forest, multiple specimens growing together in a decaying log

- bell shaped pileus that was dull/silky, smooth surface, striated margin, brown center with that turns into a tan towards the margin, 31mm in diameter

- adnate attached even gills, lamellulae present (sort of wavy/crisped), gills 15mm in length, off white cream/tan in color

- stipe surface was squamulose (flakey), 68mm in length 3.5mm in width, possibly hollow, caespitose base

-no annulus or volva present

-spore shape subglobose with no ornimentations

- spore measurements (length/width) (in micrometers) I tried to include the one of the largest and smallest spores I could find along with the majority of the same sized spores that I found. Measured with an 100x oil immersion objective.
