Notes: Suspected Galerina marginata:

Pileus -

Cap 2 – 4cm wide; brown-orange; radial lined margin; campanulate, becoming convex.

Stipe -

Stem 4 – 6cm long, 3 – 5mm wide; bruising reddish-brown.

Annulus -

Orange ring around stalk.

Lamellae -

Orange-brown; distant; attached and broad, with intermediate tiers.

Spores -

Spore deposit not obtained.

Habitat -

In grass, high probability of wood mulch or decaying wood matter under, or mixed into topsoil. Spotted in November 2012.
