Specimen available

Found growing in conifer wood chips mixed with top soil. Fruiting clusters were very close to a sword fern. Bluing was present on observation, but increased intensity after harvesting.

Based on microscopic features: Pleurocystidia present and fairly abundant. Characteristics match up with descriptions that are avaliable for this species.

I don’t think it looks anything like wild or cultivated P. azurescens. Other than the cap having an umbo, there really isn’t anything too similar, but even that characteristic is not the same.
