Notes: this was an interesting one. chachapoya is quite high in altitude (probably 2300m). it doesn’t seems to rain all that much. i read somewhere that there is a specific type of pine tree that grows in the mountains around here. it is supposed to be the only type of pine tree.

this hongos grows on the grown in the pines.

i kind of walked through a forest of pines and found a bunch of them.

bull dung was scattered a bit all over but i’m not 100% guaranteeded that it grew in there.

the gills are the most amazing to me. it’s a sponge.

as you can see they can get quite big.

the colors when you break the trunk are weird
