Notes: SUBSTRATE granite outcrop in canyon; ASPECT shaded; NOTES placodioid crust, cortex shiny brownish pale green to tan, cortex K- C- KC- UV+y? 375nm, medulla thick and dense K- C- KC- UV-, apothecia stipitate, all epruinose, epihymenium yellow brown POL+, amphithecium POL+ filled with algae with 25 µm uniform cortex, algal layer continuous below hymenium, spores 12-13 × 6-7 µm.
