Notes: SUBSTRATE granite outcrop in mixed forest on north-facing slope of canyon; ASPECT shaded; NOTES scurfy tan thick crust, K+y to bright red, apothecia raised with whitish rim and strongly pruinose, epihymenium dark brown POL+, paraphyses strongly moniliform (4+ cells swollen), spores 8 per ascus 28-30 × 13-15 µm, conidia ?.
