Notes: SUBSTRATE granite outcrop in mixed forest on north-facing slope of canyon; ASPECT shaded; NOTES thick gray verrucose-areolate crust, very narrow whitish prothallus, cortex K+y weak C- KC- P+y weak UV-, medulla K~y weak C- KC- P+y weak UV+white (not bluish), epihymenium and top of rims C+y/o strong, epihymenium brown full of fine POL+ granules clearing in K, amphithecium with scattered algae all POL+ clearing in K and ~35 µm uniform cortex, disk strongly white pruinose, apothecia adnate, spores 10-13 × 5-6 µm 8 per ascus.
