Macroscopic Characteristics
Fruiting Body: tiny yellow; gilled mushroom
Size: 1.8-2 cm cap, 5 cm long, stem a lot longer than cap diameter, 1-2mm thick
Texture very soft, fragile, smooth
Pileus (cap): conical to bell shaped; yellowish-golden , white outer border
Stipe (stem): lighter yellow than cap, sort of transparent yellow, hollow
Lamellae (Gills): attached to stem, adnexed, spaced out

Odor not distinctive
Spore Print white
Microscopic Characteristics

Basidiospores 7-9 × 4-5.5 µm; elliptical, smooth, pear shape, inside clear structures
Habitat Characteristics
Substrate: found alone, on forest floor under below forest canopy next to leaves
Location: Little Calumet River Trail, Chesterton, Indiana, USA
Time: October, fall
