No herbarium specimen

Notes: -found single specimen with most of the stipe >3/4 in the soil, seemed to be older in age

-pileus was dry/dull and broadly convex, measured 38mm in diameter, smooth surface, with smooth margin, pileus color was a deep red with a few fades areas

-adnate even gills, off white in color (13mm in length) no lamellulae present

- no annulus

-dry/dull stipe, smooth surface, solid, off white in color, 41mm in length, 11mm in width, caespitose base

- no volva

-spore shape was dacryoid/globose in shape smooth

- spore measurements (length/width) (in micrometers) I tried to include the one of the largest and smallest spores I could find along with the majority of the same sized spores that I found. Measured with an 100x oil immersion objective.
