This lichen was found on a rock face near the parking lot at the top of Larch Mountain. It has so overgrown the rock than separating it out from any other lichen is nearly impossible. It has a mottled grayish-white appearance, and forms individual colonies that don’t seem to want to grow together very much. Abundant, probably on red lava.
