I didnt notice a rooting stipe however…
Ill let you know when i go back to that area.

Glutinous cap and violet-blue stipe suggest Phaeocollybia to me.

Yes the gills are brown. Caleb, did you pick this or attempt to dig it up? If picked, the rooting stipe may easily have been lost.
