Too bad that the annulus took such a beating….[meaning affecting edit]

The pinkish staining in the area of recurved scales on the bulb suggests that this might be Amanita subcokeri (provisional name). Odor is useful for that species, and if the ring is not totally blown away (it usually isn’t), you can sometimes see clearly that there are two skirts that join at their flared edges. (Amanita cokeri will do the same thing, however.)
